Mitts mitts mitts

I'm now working on two pairs of Endpaper mitts. I finished the first glove for my gray and white version and it was a bit too loose for my liking. I visited Lakeside Fibers yesterday (yarn heaven) and pick up some amazing 8 ply Sublime Fine Merino Wool in charcoal and violet. So, I've decided to give the Endpaper Mitts another try, in the correct size of course. In order to do this, I've had to make some heavy modifications to the original design but so far they fit perfectly. One down, one to go :)

  1. I love the colors that you choose for the mittens! I am just beginning to knit, and plan to be able to knit those by the end of the year.

  3. What made you decide not to do the last pattern repeat at the end of the mitts ? The colour combination is really nice though. Crazy as it is, I have never knit anything in purple. I want to oh so bad, but can never think of the right project !!!

    These look pretty though :)

  4. I had to modify the mitts so that they would fit better, that is why I didn't knit in the last pattern repeat, they are the perfect length. I LOVE purple!!!

  5. Ahhhh !!! the first pair I knit didn't have the pattern repeat as well. The second pair I knit DO have the repeat and I actually like that better ! (for me !) That's the awesome thing about personalizing your knitting, you can do JUST what works for you !!

Once again, the purple is oh so so so beautiful! I NEED SOME !
