Life

These last 2 weeks I've been into some major house revamping. Going through closets, scrubbing the floors and throwing away tons of junk that we don't use! I can't say it was fun but it does feel good :) All of this in preparation for the rest of 2011. My husband  will be pursuing a documentary this year on how to hear from God. This was birthed from John's creative passion for film and a mission to hear from God for himself; it has become something very dear to my heart as well. Not to mention the inspiration we received at the Vimeo Film Festival in Manhattan, NY late 2010. So, everything in my home is now in order and I am officially ready for frequent travel around the country with my husband and son. Change is a marvelous thing! We hope that most of the filming will be wrapped up before fall of this year, however, there are some interviews that will have to be worked in later. The plans are still in there preliminary stages but we do have basic direction and many concrete events down on the calendar. Not to mention that we may possibly be heading to Minnesota next week to get sozoed. It is such an amazing thing and has freed so many people! If you're curious  about what it is, check out the link: http://www.bethelsozo.com/ Following the filming, we will have to work on post production for the documentary. There really is no time constraints on the project, we've pretty much made it a priority for 2011. This will be a wild ride, bring it on!!!

"All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirit. Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established." Proverbs 16: 2-3

  1. Having a clean and comfy house always feels so wonderful :) I know I always appreciate having a clean and orderly flat, so go you for doing that to start out the 2011 year !!!

I am also so happy to hear that your year is ALREADY progressing so nicely. It is so exciting to hear that your husband's creative juices are flowing oh so greatly and that things are coming together so naturally (or so it seems!) How long has the documentary been in process, or is it just beginning !!? Tell us MORE !

  2. I agree with Molly - John's documentary progress sounds very exciting and rewarding, I'm sure. I checked out the link and explored the site pretty thoroughly. "Groovy"

How long do/will you (both/all) stay in each location? I'd definitely like to see the final result, is this an option? :-)

*Yay, for being able to follow another blog ;)
